About the Threat Hunting Management Series

The Threat Hunting Management series is designed to help security leaders build and mature their threat hunting programs. Each session focuses on a key element of managing hunt teams, from hiring and development to collaboration and program strategy.

What This Session Covers

One of the most overlooked drivers of threat hunting success is how well teams work together. In this session, we will focus on integrating threat hunting into broader security operations by improving how hunt teams collaborate with Intelligence, SecOps, and Engineering.

Misaligned priorities, poor information flow, and unclear roles can reduce the impact of even the most skilled threat hunters. This workshop will outline ways to improve coordination, use hunt findings to support detection and response, and build repeatable processes that bring value to the entire security program.

Key Topics

This session will feature insights from Intel 471 experts on how to increase the value of your hunt function through better collaboration. Topics include:

  • Identifying what to share between teams and how to reduce noise
  • Building recurring hunt priorities that support detection and response
  • Structuring collaboration to maximize operational impact
  • Understanding when and how to engage hunt teams during incidents
  • Using hunt as a strategic function within the broader security team

Certification and Resources

Attendees will receive supporting materials to help integrate threat hunting into team workflows. Those who complete the workshop and final challenge will also earn a certification from Intel 471’s Threat Hunting Management Program, which can be shared on social media as a mark of achievement.

Join us on June 18, 2025, from 12:00 to 12:45 PM ET to learn how to make threat hunting a force multiplier across your security teams.
